Patriotic Banner

The Presorted Standard rate is used by mailers of bulk quantities of items such as newsletters or notices. Art director Ethel Kessler and stamp designer Michael Osborne used graphic elements from the American flag in a new design dubbed “Patriotic Banner.” Vibrant red and white stripes bleed horizontally across vertical perforations, while the eye-catching central blue field, outlined in gold, sparkles with white stars, and the whole is finished off with the words “USA” and “Presorted Standard.”
