Debra Shriver

As Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Hearst Corporation, Shriver oversees marketing and PR for one of the nation's largest diversified media companies. A former journalist, she traveled with UNICEF to Thailand following the tsunami in January 2005, and to New Orleans following hurricane Katrina in 2005. Her first book, Stealing Magnolias: Tales from a New Orleans Courtyard, a memoir of buying one of the first houses in the city following Katrina, was published by Glitterati in October 2010. Shriver resides in New York and New Orleans.
